In 2013, after gaining 250,000 followers for her eponymous tumblr, Clementine published her first chapbook, "As Often As Miracles". Poems from that collection have adapted into a song cycle for singer Melody Moore, which made it’s debut at Carnegie Hall.

In April 2015, Clementine released her first collection, Mouthful of Forevers, through Andrews McMeel Universal, which appeared on multiple bestseller lists and was a Goodreads Choice Award Finalist for Best Poetry Book of 2015. Her second collection, Dream Girl, was released in December 2015 by Where Are You Press. Collectively, she has sold over 100,000 books worldwide.

She is the founder of Where Are You Press, a publishing consulting firm committed to helping accessible, innovative poetry by a diversity of voices find its way into the world. She is a founding collective member of Slamlandia, Portland’s first and only scored slam, and the Slam Master at the Portland Poetry Slam, Portland's oldest and longest-running spoken word event.

Clementine was the winner of the nation-wide PSI sponsored video slam in 2016. She has represented her beloved Portland at the Individual World Poetry Slam, National Poetry Slam, and the Women of the World Poetry Slam. She is currently ranked 16th in the world.

Her poem “For Teenage Girls” has been featured on Huffington Post, Upworthy, Everyday Feminism, and was chosen by Button Poetry as their 4th best poem of 2015. “For Teenage Girls” has since been adapted into an illustrated book by Andrews McMeel Universal.
